RockWheel RV Camper Window 15 3/4 inch x 27 1/2 inch
Product Features
- Premium Flat Window Design: Sleek and modern flat-style window, perfect for enhancing the appearance of RVs, campers, and van conversions.
- Tempered Glass for Longevity: We use only tempered glass for our windows, avoiding plastic alternatives that may age, deform, or crack within 3-4 years. High-quality insulated tempered glass provides superior strength, safety, and clarity compared to acrylic. It resists scratches, maintains exceptional transparency, and is designed to shatter safely into small fragments upon impact, reducing injury risks. Tempered glass is also fire-resistant, and more durable in harsh weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for RV and camper applications.
- UV Protection: The window glass is designed with UV protection to keep your RV’s interior cool and prevent fading of furniture caused by prolonged sun exposure.
- Noise Reduction: Built with sound-insulating properties, our windows ensure a quieter and more comfortable experience inside your RV, even in noisy environments.
- High-Quality Rubber Seals: Durable rubber seals ensure a watertight and airtight fit, protecting your interior from leaks, drafts, and outside elements.
- Built-In Insulation Blinds: Integrated blinds offer privacy and insulation, reducing heat loss or gain and improving energy efficiency.
- Bug Screens for Pest-Free Living: Comes with convenient bug screens to keep insects and debris out, ensuring your RV or camper remains clean and comfortable.
- Wide Compatibility with Wall Thicknesses: Designed to fit installation wall thicknesses between 20mm-30mm, accommodating a range of camper and RV designs.
- Scratch and UV Resistance: Unlike acrylic, tempered glass resists scratches and discoloration over time, ensuring a long-lasting polished appearance and reliable performance in all environments.
- Exceptional Thermal Efficiency: The insulated design helps maintain a comfortable interior by reducing heat transfer, saving energy, and improving overall temperature control.
- Universal Fit: Designed for versatility, our windows are compatible with a wide range of RV models including but not limited to Sprinter, Transit and ProMaster.

Window Installation Guidance
-
Remove the Support Bars
- Begin by removing the support bars from the window area.
-
Protect the Vehicle Body
- To protect the body of the vehicle, place a sturdy metal sheet (like a metal ruler) behind the area where you plan to make the cut.
-
Measure and Mark the Installation Area
- Measure carefully from the top, bottom, left, and right to determine the exact placement for the window.
- Position a cardboard template of the window on the wall and use it to trace the outline onto the van.
-
Drill Small Holes Along the Outline
- Use a metal drill to create multiple small holes along the traced outline. These will serve as guide points for cutting.
-
Cut the Outline
- Depending on your tool preference, use either a jigsaw or a grinder to cut along the outline:
-
Using a Jigsaw:
- Ensure there is adequate clearance for the jigsaw blade to prevent it from getting stuck, especially around corners. A stuck blade can damage the van's body.
-
Using a Grinder:
- Align your cutting direction with the direction of the grinder’s spin for smoother operation.
-
Using a Jigsaw:
- Depending on your tool preference, use either a jigsaw or a grinder to cut along the outline:
-
Cut Gradually
- Start with a shallow initial cut along the outline. Gradually deepen the cut in increments until you are confident enough to complete the full cut.
-
Adjust the Hole
- Use the grinder to make minor adjustments to the cut-out hole, ensuring a precise fit for the window. It is always suggested to mark the area to be grinned to avoid over grinding.
-
Apply Silicone Gel
- Apply the window’s silicone gel to both the window frame and the cut-out edge. Tapes are applied to avoid contamination of the van when applying silicone.
- Note that silicone typically takes about 24 hours to fully dry. If your van will be left outdoors during this time, make sure the weather is clear to avoid interference with the drying process.
